We are getting close to the 8-week appointment, and we have to say our mindsets are changing about the whole baby thing. Gone are the thoughts of "we want a boy/girl", now it's just prayers for a healthy baby and for us to become the parents God is preparing us to be.
Susan has really been feeling ill over the past couple weeks, but gladly she is now on some meds that sooth her nausea, however her ability to do dishes has not yet been restored. The last statement may or may not have been fabricated. I hope she doesn't read her own blog....

Telling the Whitleys...
Here is a video of us telling Susan's parents about the baby. We lured them to a restaurant and Susan gave them shirts she had made. The shirts both say "Baby Eidson Coming September 2008"...

Here's the first ultrasound!
Susan is 6 weeks pregnant - due September 16th! The baby is in the dark spot, marked with an "X", much like treasure, but alive...
