Quick post

I HAD to take pictures of William in his boots before he outgrows them...so here are some of the best from our "photo shoot." And then last night I found him in his crib using the bear on the end of his blanket as a pillow...genius and cute!

6 month update

Well, William is now 6 1/2 months old (can't believe that by the way) and growing like a weed. We had his checkup on the ninth and he is, to quote the doc, "off the charts" on height (28 1/2") and 85th percentile for weight (19lbs 2 oz.).
He is hilarious. We laugh all the time. One of the funniest things about him is that instead of laughing he just screams really loud when he thinks something is funny with a little laugh at the end. And he doesn't know a stranger...he LOVES people and always has to see what is goin on. When I push him in his stroller he has to sit up all the way so he can look around and check everybody out. I think he has his daddy's personality....he likes to know how things work, he loves the remote, he watches tv with his mouth open, and he talks a lot :) love you Lee!

And...I think he is getting ready to crawl! Ahhh, I am NOT ready. Last week he started pushing up on all fours and rocking back and forth and this week he is getting really good at it. We'll keep you posted!

Weesie came last week to visit during her spring break. We had a great time playing with William, shopping and eating way too much food. Its fun to see how much William loves her and gets excited about her. William also got to spend time with Lee's family. We celebrated aunt Laura's belated birthday. Yeah for Wii and TGI Fridays!

Here are some pics....oh, and we're having a major garage sale the first weekend in April, come on out and buy stuff! Or just pray for us...its gonna be CRAZY!!!

Look out world! Here I come!

William and Dad...
I think we're all slightly obsessed with hats....hmmmm
Cutest picture ever...I'm pretty sure...
Sportin his Roboman digital master shirt...compliments of Aunt Laura

Toofies

William has gotten his two bottom teeth in! He's looking more like a little boy everyday, and not like a baby...sniff, sniff. I didn't think I would be sad about it, because I can't wait for him to walk and talk , but I surprised myself ( I know my mom is saying I told you so right now!). He has outgrown his car seat and all of his clothes! I got some twelve month clothes just in case....well, he's wearing it. I don't know why this surprises me either. I was a gigantoid of a child and so was Lee. All of my preschool pics through jr. high are hilarious (maybe I'll post some someday!)

On a funny note I thought I would share some of the things Lee and I do now that we're parents. The other day we all went out as a family to Bass Pro and I said to Lee..."you'll never guess what I just did. I just put a booger in my pocket." And no, it was not mine :) No wipes, or trash can in sight...you gotta do what you gotta do right? Lee also likes to sing songs to William. He changes the words of any song to fit...for example..
1. You ask what his name is, yes you do. His name is William now I told you his name.

Just recently he Williamized the Ting Ting song That's not my name.

2. They call me baby, they call me Bill, they call me sockhands, they call me Hank. That's not my name, That's not my name, That's not my name, My name is William.
There are many many more and William LOVES to be sung to..sang to..sung to?

Oh (I know I'm rambling) and W sleeps like a maniac. Last night I was watching the monitor (you know Techman has a crazy video monitor set up, 22"inch screen, I call it Babyvision) and William had rolled over on to his stomach and had one arm on the bumper and was using it to climb up the length of the crib...in his sleep! He also talks in his sleep and smiles in his sleep....silly boy.

On a serious note, please pray for the Martin family. This past Saturday their ranch caught fire outside of Edna and apprx. 2000 acres were burned. Through all of the chaos and uncertainty (lots of family members and friends out fighting the biggest fire you can imagine) God showed himself in numerous, mighty ways. All of the houses were spared and no one was hurt, but the process of getting things back to normal will be a long one.

Now of course, here are some pics.
Kinda hard to see, but there are two little bottom teeth.
Yay for bath time!
My mom took this, she loves to put blankets on him and say he's baby Jesus...totally normal right??
